After a spectacular winter season in London, La Soirée will be waving goodbye to its sumptuous Spiegeltent at the Southbank Centre on 17th January 2016. Joining the troupe for their final weeks in the capital is cabaret superstar Camille O’Sullivan, who made her long-awaited return to La Soirée on 21st December 2015.
The crowned winner of the prestigious Olivier Award for Best Entertainment 2015 and fresh from a magnificent world tour, the awe-inspiring cabaret sensation La Soirée returned home to London for a sixth season in the capital on 27th October 2015, to rapturous audience reception and garnering five-star reviews.
La Soirée’s triumphant return to London features much-loved acts such as the legendary English Gents, astonishing contortionist Captain Frodo, critically-acclaimed comedian Asher Treleaven, unforgettable quirky comedienne Mooky, punked-up aerial ballet star Bret Pfister and exceptional showman Mario Queen of the Circus. Making their London debuts this year are the heart-stoppingly talented Melanie Chy and mesmirising aerial artist Yammel Rodriguez.
La Soirée will be soon be heading down under to play Perth’s Fringe World Festival from 22nd January until 6th March. The irresistible theatrical phenomenon has now seen more than 75 artists take their place on the iconic red stage across five continents, with over 150 acts between them. Audiences and critics alike have been wooed by La Soirée’s ever-expanding, fabulously dysfunctional family in more than 25 cities, from Darwin to Manila, stopping off at Hong Kong, Melbourne, Montreal, Paris and New York along the way.
