Last chance to see Miss Saigon

There are just 14 weeks left to catch Cameron Mackintosh’s multi-award winning production of Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical, Miss Saigon, at the Prince Edward Theatre where it will have its final London flight on Saturday 27th February 2016.

In spring 2017 Miss Saigon will land in Broadway for a limited season before launching its North American tour in 2018. The Broadway return of Miss Saigon will feature acclaimed London stars Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer and Eva Noblezada as Kim, who will continue to play the roles in London until 27th February.

This new spectacular production of Miss Saigon opened in May 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre. In September 2014 Miss Saigon celebrated 25 years since the musical first premiered at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. The original 1989 production starred Jonathan Pryce as The Engineer, Lea Salonga as Kim and Simon Bowman as Chris.

Miss Saigon tells the tragic tale of young bar girl Kim, orphaned by war, who falls in love with an American GI called Chris – but their lives are torn apart by the fall of Saigon.

The London production of Miss Saigon currently stars Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer, Eva Noblezada as Kim, Chris Peluso as Chris, Siobhan Dillon as Ellen, Hugh Maynard as John, Sangwoong Jo as Thuy and Natalie Mendoza as Gigi. From 14th December 2015 Marsha Songcome will play the role of Gigi.

image001The new production of Miss Saigon will repeat its London success in Japan next year and will open over the next few years in Germany, Australia, Asia and on tour around the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
